1. What manufacturing methods (seamless vs. welded construction) and schedule wall thicknesses are available?

We manufacture seamless eccentric reducers using precision cold or hot die-forming from seamless stainless steel pipe for high-pressure systems. For larger pipe sizes, we produce plate-formed welded reducers featuring 100% full-penetration longitudinal welds. Wall thicknesses cover complete ASME schedules from Schedule 10S and 40S to extra-heavy Schedule 160 and XXS in dual-certified ASTM A403 WP304/304L and WP316/316L material grades.

Due to the asymmetrical geometry of eccentric reducers, our QC team performs multi-point ultrasonic wall thickness testing along both the flat edge and the tapered zone to ensure strict compliance with ASME B16.9 minimum wall thickness requirements. We also perform 100% Positive Material Identification (PMI), dimensional checks on offset alignment, and bevel end inspection. All orders are heat-treated (solution annealed) and supplied with EN 10204 3.1 Material Test Reports (MTRs).

Standard manufacturing lead time is 30 to 45 days after order confirmation and technical drawing approval. We offer flexible MOQs for standard sizes and schedules, allowing international buyers to consolidate concentric reducers, eccentric reducers, elbows, and tees into a single container order to reduce overall shipping costs.

All bevel ends are fitted with protective plastic end caps to prevent edge deformation. Smaller reducers are packed in ISPM-15 heat-treated seaworthy wooden cases lined with waterproof plastic film. Large-diameter reducers are secured into heavy-duty wooden bundles or strapped onto pallets with cardboard cushioning to prevent surface scratches and metal-to-metal rubbing during sea transit.

A: We accommodate standard international commercial trade terms including EXW, FOB (Taiwan/China ports), CFR, CIF, and DDP. Cargo can be dispatched as Full Container Load (FCL) or Less than Container Load (LCL) via ocean freight, with expedited air freight available for critical maintenance shutdowns or urgent engineering timelines.
